DESCRIPTION:Emergency Medical Technician is an entry-level program and meets requirements for Licensure in Wisconsin and certification with the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians. An EMT License is your first step to a career as an Advanced EMT or Paramedic. \n\n\n\nREQUIREMENTS:     \n\n	You must be at least 17 years old to join the EMT program. Minors must wait until age 18 to apply for an EMT License.\n	This program has a state-mandated hours requirement.\n	The National Registry of EMT's Practical Exam is offered on site at the end of your course.\n	EMS Student Dress Code is enforced at all times. Madison College EMS or Fire Program shirts are required.\n	Information obtained from the the CHC may affect your ability to secure a WI EMS Training Permit.
