DESCRIPTION:Celebrating 60+ Years - 1965 - 2025!!\nIf you are looking for a place that can take you back to a time when there were no phones\, computers\, bathrooms\, running water or electricity\, the Reedsburg Area Historical Society's Pioneer Log Village is just for you! This authentic mid-1800's log village nestled in the pines just east of Reedsburg features fully furnished log homes\, a church\, school\, general store\, post office\, blacksmith shop\, library and three museums.\n\nThe Village is open Saturday afternoons Memorial Day through Labor Day\, but it also holds a special Heritage Day Rendezvous weekend each year. During this living history event\, visitors can talk with Mountain Men\, Voyagers and Longhunters while also enjoying special exhibits\, re-enactments\, and demonstrations. Food and music will be available on site\, and the cabins and museums will be open for touring.
