Event Description:
Our local Scout Troop 247 - Reedsburg, WI along with their leader, Julus Paul will be braving the cold and camping out in front of our store. They will be ‘begging’ for non-perishable items all day on Saturday through the night into Sunday. They will sleep in cardboard boxes that they build. This is all done near the front entry of our store.
This is their Troop’s version of Scouting for Food and an opportunity to help stock the Reedsburg Food Pantry for the holidays and bring awareness of the homelessness in our area.
Add the date to your calendar and stop by with non-perishable items for donation.
Last year they collected over 6,000 items for the food pantry. They would like to match or beat this amount again this year!

The timing for this event will help ensure that pantry is ready for the holidays.
