Stars & Stripes Special 

A Tribute to America
Come celebrate America’s independence at Mid-Continent Railway Museum with our Stars and Stripes Special weekend. What better way to celebrate America than to explore the history of the railroads that helped shape the nation. The train will be specially decorated in red, white and blue for the occasion.

The weekend will also feature:
  • Free coach class train ride tickets for veterans and military personnel.
  • Free snow cone to all train ticket holders.
  • Interactive guided tours of Mid-Continent’s Engine House and a locomotive will also be offered July 4-6. These tours will be an hour long and will provide an immersive look at a locomotive and the maintenance skills and facilities needed to keep them operating.
