Join Habitat for Humanity of Wisconsin River Area for our annual Day of Service and Remembrance.
Join First Responders, Veterans, and Habitat for Humanity for Service and Remembrance for 9/11 Day marking the 25th Anniversary of the attacks on September 11th, 2001. Local leaders will speak to the meaning of service and sacrifice, what binds us together as a community, and how everyone can make a difference in this world.
Following the ceremony there will be a veteran-led service event making care packages for first responders in Habitat for Humanity's 5-county service area. We are honored to share that Habitat for Humanity of Wisconsin River Area has been selected as a @911day grant recipient! This fall, we'll be joining the movement to permanently transform the anniversary of 9/11 into America's Day of Doing Good - leading a community service project in honor of the 25th Anniversary. All are welcome to attend and this event is free.
