    Wednesday, March 7, 2018, 6-8 PM: Madison Area Technical College-Reedsburg, 300 Alexander Ave, Reedsburg, is offering Alternative Energy for Beginners. This course will cover the pros and cons of alternative energy, along with a discussion on the science of energy. Both major energy sources, such as solar, wind, and bio-mass (wood, pellet, grains, waste, compost) and minor sources of energy, such as hydroelectric, thermal mass, and exotic types will be reviewed. You will also learn about the economics, maintenance and construction aspects as well. Dave Kosak is the instructor. To register stop by Madison College Reedsburg or call (608) 524-7800.
