Severin Behnen leads The Blue Canvas Orchestra and special guests in a new show featuring the music of the Grand Ole Opry. This musical institution has been called "The home of American music", and "country's most famous stage." In Big Top Opry, members of The Blue Canvas Orchestra re-create the music of Opry's legendary performers such as Patsy Cline, Marty Robbins, Hank Williams, Ernest Tubb, Johnny Cash and Kitty Wells. The music is classic country and western from the early days of radio and television, when life was a whole lot simpler. We're joined by a fiddler who has graced the Big Top stage many times, Randy Sabien. Randy is described as a "bluesy, rockin', swingin', funky, jazz violinist." And another regular to the Big Top stage, rocker Corey Carlson brings his love of old-time Western music to the show and delivers his signature intensity and charisma to the production.
