Schedule of Butterfest Events for Thur, June 16th:
2:30-4 PM: New Free Kid’s Event at Butterfest! Kids & Critters: Connecting With Animal Helpers in the RACA Building. Vultures and mice and snakes - oh my!! Some find them creepy, but they all play an important role in our ecosystem. Come meet some everyday animals that help us in unexpected ways.
2:30 PM: Animal Meet & Greet: Willow - RAHS Therapy Dog & Uncle Butzie - Turkey Vulture
3:15 PM: Animal Themed Storytime with Miss Jess McCarlson @ RACA
4 PM: Animals in Your Backyard - Program with David Stokes, Naturalist - Humorist - Educator David’s programs are interactive, educational, and fun for kids of all ages - an opportunity to interact with some of our backyard critters. (For the comfort & safety of our education animals, we are asking that you please leave your four-legged family members at home.)
5 PM: Food Court/Jaycee's Beer Garden Open
5:30 PM: Big Wheel Race @ RACA Parking Lot. Bring your own Big Wheel. No Tricycles.
6 PM: Midway Opens
7:30 PM: Farm Tractor Pull - Grandstand
