    Event Description:
    Shady Grove
        Shady Grove is a four piece acoustic band with folk and bluegrass roots founded out of pure enjoyment for acoustic music.  Shady Grove has been described as laid-back, toe-tapping, warm-hearted acoustic music, a throwback to the 60’s folk scene.
        The Shady Grove sound is: Bob Berger on vocals, lead guitar, mandolin and harmonica, John Vande Zande , vocals, banjo, and dobro, Bruce Hahn, vocals, rhythm guitar, mandolin and Dennis Kremplan on bass guitar.
        Shady Grove has released a CD entitled “Another Season Comes Along” which is a culmination of original and cover tunes that they have enjoyed playing over the years and finally got into the studio to record.
        The Shady Grove set list includes an eclectic mix of songs from Bluegrass, Folk, Fiddle tunes, Cowboy to 60’s 70’s popular songs and original works. Shady Grove has played throughout Wisconsin in events that range from outdoor concerts, dances, festivals, indoor concert series, and house concerts.  
        Shady Grove in concert is sponsored by The Reedsburg Area Chamber of Commerce.

    Concerts in the Park 2011 has been made financially possible through the generous donations of area residents and businesses as well as money raised by “passing the hat” at each concert.

    $25 - $49 Contributors; $50 - $99 Friends; $100 and up Patrons

    Location:

    Reedsburg City Park, 200 block of Park Street in downtown Reedsburg.  In the event of rain, concerts are moved to the RACA Building, 1411 Viking Drive, in Nishan Park.
