The Painted Forest/Edgewood College Second Sundays feature special events at Painted Forest which include free activities for all ages and abilities, Art and Science Activities, Docent Tours, Live Music Performances and a Local Food Vendor. This event is entitled "Celebrating the Driftless".
Edgewood College maintains this restored folk art treasure by German painter Ernest Hupeden. Painted from 1899-1901, Hupeden's vivid, imaginative scenes cover the interior of Valton's historic Modern Woodmen of America meeting hall.
