Thursdays, October 25, 2018, & November 1, 2018, 6-8 PM: MATC-Reedsburg, 300 Alexander Ave, Reedsburg, is offering SLR Digital Camera Basics. This hands on course will teach the student the functions and nomenclature of the DSLR. Lenses, proper lens selection, speed lights, image management and archival are discussed. Video functions of your DSLR will be briefly discussed. This is a great class to attend if you are in the market to purchase a new or first DSLR. You will learn how to use the program, aperture, shutter and manual modes of your camera and what they do. Students should bring their fully charged camera, owner's manual and laptop. This course may be beneficial for owners of advanced point and shoot cameras as well. Students should be comfortable with their laptop, operating system and basic functions.
