On Tuesday, September 30, Mavis Johannes of the Southern Wisconsin Watercolor Society (SWWS) will present a watercolor painting workshop from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the Community Room. SWWS began over thirty years ago as “Palette Pals” and met in Baraboo. After a brief hiatus in 2020, they resumed meeting and now gather at the Voyageur Inn in Reedsburg on the third Wednesday of each month. SWWS offers workshops by nationally recognized artists, and also shares demonstrations, critiques and support locally.
At Tuesday’s library workshop, participants will have a chance to experiment with watercolor, while working from Johannes’ example. There is no registration or fee required to attend.
